Prescription drugs stolen from La Crescenta pharmacy

An determined amount of prescription drugs was stolen from a Walgreens pharmacy in La Crescenta around 3 a.m. Saturday, according to the Crescenta Valley sheriff’s station.

Deputies responded to a burglary alarm at the store, 3001 Foothill Blvd., where two burglars stole the drugs, according to reports.

When deputies arrived, they found the front window of the business had been smashed. However, the burglars had already fled the scene.

This is part of a series of thefts from pharmacies in the La Crescenta area, according to authorities.
