Burglary: 5800 block of Briartree Drive, between 8 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. Front door pried open, bedrooms ransacked, MacBook Pro computer and possibly other items taken.

Burglary: 3300 block of Flintridge Oaks Drive, before 11 a.m. Front door of a home pried or kicked open.

Oct. 20

Theft: 300 block of Baptiste Way, before 1 p.m. Two Obama campaign signs taken from a front yard.

Theft: 5000 block of Crown Avenue, before 6 p.m. Two Obama campaign signs taken from a front yard.

Burglary: 466 Foothill Blvd., before 8:45 a.m. Glass front door of Jasmine Salon and Spa shattered, eight gift packages containing shampoo and hair products taken.

Oct. 19

Theft: Montrose Avenue at Orangedale Avenue, between 7 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. Catalytic converter taken from a Toyota 4Runner.

Oct. 21

Drunk in public: 3900 block of Sunset Avenue, 5:40 a.m. Deputies responding to a burglary call found a man sleeping on the porch of a home. The man could not tell deputies where he was.

Oct. 22

Identity Theft: 2300 block of El Moreno Drive, noon. A man discovered that in the 21 days prior, multiple department store credit cards had been opened in his name, and charges exceeding $2,000 had been made.
