Drunk in public: Foothill Boulevard at Oakwood Avenue, 4:10 p.m. Man who smelled of alcohol and exhibited slurred speech while sitting on a bus bench was arrested.

Dec. 27

Domestic violence: 2100 block of La Cañada Crest Drive, 2:40 a.m. Man arrested for screaming at and shaking female victim.

Dec. 28

Theft: 734 Foothill Blvd., between 3:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Front right tire and wheel taken off of a Mazda while it was parked at Dish restaurant.

Burglary: 5100 block of Redwillow Lane, between noon and 5:54 p.m. Flat-screen television, laptop computer and silver-engraved watch taken.

Theft: 4200 block of Woodleigh Lane, before 9 a.m. Ping-pong table top delivered by UPS taken from in front of a home.

Drug possession: 2639 Foothill Blvd., 10:55 a.m. A man who entered the Hope’s Hallmark store and attempted to steal a book was spotted by an employee and returned it. When deputies searched the man, they found heroin and a bottle containing morphine pills.

Dec. 29

Burglary: 5300 block of Pineridge Drive, before 11:30 p.m. Bathroom window shattered, television and jewelry taken.

Dec. 30

Theft: 2800 block of Community Avenue, before 3:45 p.m. Porch light bulb taken.
