La Cañada; Unified to hold orientation for kindergarten parents
The La Cañada Unified School District will host a district orientation for parents of incoming kindergarten students.
Kindergarten teachers and principals from LCUSD’s three elementary schools will discuss kindergarten readiness and explain the language arts and math curriculum. The district nurse will also be on hand to review immunization requirements for incoming students.
Information regarding registration procedures will be explained, and a question and answer session will be provided.
The orientation is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 16, at 7 p.m. at the Palm Crest Multipurpose Room, 5025 Palm Drive, La Cañada.
