Four hikers rescued from Angeles National Forest

Four men were rescued from the Angeles National Forest Sunday night after becoming stranded on a hike, according to sheriff's officials.

One of the hikers called the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station around 7:05 p.m. and reported that the group had limited supplies, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Lt. Elisabeth Sachs.

Montrose Search and Rescue deputies then located the men at Strawberry Peak around 10:30 p.m.

The Los Angeles County Fire Department used helicopters to lift the men from the location.
