Share

A student at La Cañada High School died Friday afternoon after apparently jumping off of a building on campus, according to authorities.

During a press conference Friday night, Wendy Sinnette, superintendent of schools for the La Cañada Unified School District, said the community is “devastated and saddened.”

All school activities have been canceled this weekend.

Officials have only said that the incident occurred at 3:55 p.m. at the junior high school building. They have not named the student, but classmates identified him as senior Campbell Taylor.

On social media sites, students remembered him.
