The La Cañada Flintridge City Council will discuss regulating hours for businesses that sell liquor for off-site consumption on Monday.

According to the city, there were about 20 calls for service to the Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Department at stores licensed to sell liquor within the past two years.

Those calls included reports of stolen bottles of alcohol, intoxicated individuals and attempted drunk driving.

Officials could consider changing the hours of operation for liquor stores in the city.

There are 14 businesses that are licensed to sell liquor in the city, according to data from the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

The City Council meeting begins at 7 p.m. on April 1. City Hall is located at 1327 Foothill Blvd.
