Share

A Crestview Preparatory School teacher is headed to Ecuador this summer to study climate change and caterpillars.

Ryan J. Bache, who teaches 6th grade at the La Cañada private school, won an Earthwatch Institute fellowship to conduct his research. He is set to depart in July and will document his experiences through a daily blog.

“I am looking forward to undertaking this research assignment,” Bache said in a statement, “and then applying my knowledge to the classroom and our greater community.”
