For the Record: May 30, 2013

In an item on the recent Bingo Barbecue fundraiser for the La Cañada Flintridge Tournament of Roses Assn. that was included in the May 30 Valley Line society column, several errors were made. In fact, Peggy Hotaling was chair of the event. Sue Beatty and Corkie MacPherson were prize co-chairs. City Councilman Jon Curtis served as emcee.

Bingo callers were Chuck Terhune, Gale Caswell, Mike Leininger, Joe Thompson, David Granish, Lee Johnson, Mary Gant and Mike O’Connor. Los Gringos Locos prepared the meal. The bingo and raffle prize winners were: Harriet Hughes, Mary Hennessy, Lynne Thompson, Adele Sweet Misamore, Bob Neilson, Harriet Hammons, Betty Jones, Donna Prout, Dave Moffett, Sharlyn French, Chuck Hughes, Helen Steadman, Marianne Wunch, Pam Griffith, Lee Johnson, Pat Foltyn, Joe Thompson, Bill Pounders, Chuck Terhune, Claire Slaughter, Tom Nuccio, Elsie Hughes, Cindy Slaughter, Rhoda Backer, Sylvia Vega and Phyllis Helland.
