Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station group hosts fundraiser

The Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station Support Group is hosting its annual golf fundraiser next month at the La Cañada Flintridge Country Club.

Proceeds from the Aug. 19 event support the sheriff’s station. To donate or participate, interested residents can mail fees and donations to: Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Support Group, P.O. Box 12458, La Crescenta, CA 91224-5458.

A golfer’s package is $200; it costs $2,500 to become a tournament host and $1,500 to become a tournament sponsor. Other sponsorship packages range from $150 to $1,000.

Lunch starts at 11:30 a.m. and golfers are set to began teeing off at 1 p.m.

The country club is located at 5500 North Godbey Drive.
