La Cañada Crime: Man threatens to shoot another

Aug. 8 Burglary: 4900 block of Oakwood Avenue, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Doors found open on residence; unknown if property was stolen.

Robbery: Sport Chalet Drive, 8:05 p.m. A 30-year-old Pasadena man was arrested for stealing a flashlight from a store.

Aug. 6

Criminal threats: 800 block of Foothill Blvd., 10:45 a.m. A man was arrested after he threatened to put a bullet in another man’s head. The victim had allegedly bought a computer and other items from the man and he wanted the items back.

Aug. 4

Petty theft: Berkshire Avenue and Chevy Chase Drive, between 12:15 and 5:15 p.m. Realtor signs stolen from yard.

April 1

Identity theft: 500 block of Saint Katherine Drive, 12 p.m. A fraudulent tax return was filed in April under the resident’s name. The incident was reported in August.

Identity theft: 2600 block of Teasley Street, 10:58 a.m. A fraudulent 2011 tax return was filed.
