Residential burglary: 4900 block of Ocean View Boulevard, between 3:30 and 4 p.m. A necklace and earrings were reported stolen after men dressed as utility workers visited a resident's home.
Residential burglary: 400 block of Canon De Paraiso Lane, before 4:15 p.m. on Sept. 27. House ransacked, it was unknown if any items were stolen.
Vandalism: 400 block of Oliveta Place, before 7:30 a.m. on Sept. 25. Vehicle egged, causing discoloration to bumpers. Three other members of the resident's church also had their cars egged.
Vehicle burglary: 4000 block of Oakwood Avenue, before 6:15 a.m. on Sept. 24. Multiple purses, along with an identification card, credit cards and miscellaneous cash were stolen. A key for another vehicle was stolen from the first vehicle and used to unlock the car and steal a purse.
Drunk in public: 3000 block of Altura Avenue, 6:40 p.m. A 36-year-old La Crescenta man was arrested after deputies found him staggering in the middle of the street.
Vehicle burglary: 2600 block of Prospect Avenue, before 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 27. A laptop computer and mouse, power cables and laptop carrying case were stolen from a car.
Burglary, possession of stolen property, identity theft, 4400 block of Rosemont Avenue, 6:15 p.m. A 27-year-old Tujunga man was arrested for carrying a metal pipe, a Social Security number that belonged to another person, an Arizona vehicle title that belonged to a woman, and burglary tools.
Forgery: Location not provided, between midnight and 6:30 a.m. A woman dropped off nine pieces of mail containing checks to pay bills at a mailbox outside her home. The mail was allegedly tampered with and a man tried to cash one of the checks the same day at a bank, but was unsuccessful. The resident closed her bank account.
