Homeboy Industries founder gives keynote speech at Crescenta-Cañada YMCA Prayer Breakfast

Father Gregory Boyle attracted hundreds of guests to the Crescenta-Cañada Family YMCA’s gymnasium on Thursday for the organization’s annual Community Prayer Breakfast.

Boyle, founder of Homeboy Industries, delivered the keynote speech. Through his organization, Boyle helps former gang members find jobs and start new lives. He is also the author of “Tattoos on the Heart: The Power of Boundless Compassion.”
This is the third year in a row that the organization has held the breakfast in November, making it a pre-holiday tradition. The event benefited Chaplain Services at the Y.
