Fewer than 30% of La Cañada Flintridge residents voted in the Nov. 5 election, according to data from the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder.

Of 13,187 registered voters, 3,580 cast ballots in the La Cañada Unified School District race. And 2,787 La Cañada residents voted to elect a new member to the District 1 seat on the Pasadena City College Board of Trustees.

Updated election results were released on Tuesday and the numbers will be certified on Nov. 25.

Two candidates who won seats on the La Cañada school board also switched places after an updated vote tally. Following the election, educator Kaitzer Puglia was leading prosecutor Dan Jeffries by less than 10 votes.

But updated results show that Jeffries led Puglia by a few votes. Jeffries received 1,751 votes and Puglia had 1,747. David Sagal, an executive and attorney for Warner Bros., remained the top vote-getter with 2,221 votes.

The numbers won’t change the results of the election. Jeffries, Puglia and Sagal won three open seats on the five-member school board.

Pasadena economist Ross Selvidge narrowly won an open seat on the PCC board, with 2,881 votes. Dianne Philibosian was close behind with 2,727 votes, and Alex Keledjian with 800 votes.
