La Cañada Crime: Glendale man arrested for violating domestic violence restraining order

Nov. 3-4
Petty theft: 4400 block of Rockland Place, before 12 p.m. on Nov. 4. A canvas bag, portable CD player, Walkman device, flashlight and tennis shoes were stolen out of the back seat of an unlocked vehicle.
Nov. 6
Petty theft: 2100 block of Foothill Boulevard, 5:45 p.m. A GPS device was stolen while a man was shipping a box of merchandise at a store.
Nov. 9
Petty theft: 5000 block of Crown Avenue, 9:30 a.m. A leather handbag, purse, checkbook, credit card, gift cards and movie tickets were stolen from a woman’s unlocked vehicle. A neighbor found and returned the checkbook last week.
Nov. 14
Theft: 900 block of Foothill Boulevard, 1:30 p.m. A women’s wallet containing an undisclosed amount of cash, multiple credit cards, and a California driver’s license was stolen when the woman left her wallet unattended while shopping.
Drug possession: 1000 block of Foothill Boulevard, 10:20 p.m. A 29-year-old Glendale man was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine and violating a domestic violence restraining order to stay 150 yards away from a woman.
Nov. 15
Petty theft: 1000 block of Foothill Boulevard, between 9:11 and 9:31 a.m. Two people were able to activate a pump and steal gallons of gasoline without inserting a credit card at a Union 76 gas station on Foothill at Angeles Crest Highway, according to a sheriff’s report.
