La Cañada Crime: Two new Apple iPhones stolen from AT&T; store

Nov. 23
Burglary: 1400 block of Descanso Drive, between 9 a.m. and 9:35 a.m. A leather purse containing a wallet, credit cards, California driver’s license, checkbook and cosmetic bag were stolen from a car. Entry was made by smashing a window on the car.
Nov. 22
Grand theft: 895 Foothill Blvd., 5:10 p.m. Two new Apple iPhones were stolen from the AT&T; store. The phones’ security tethers were also stolen. The suspect was described as a 23- to 24-year-old man, 5 foot 6 to 5 foot 7, 120 pounds, with black hair and a mustache.
Nov. 21
Grand theft: 2000 block of Foothill Boulevard, between 3 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. A wallet containing numerous gift cards, bank checks, credit cards and an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from a shopping cart while a woman was shopping at a store.
Nov. 20
Identity theft: 300 block of Noren Street, 1 p.m. Unauthorized purchases were made through a resident’s checking account.
Nov. 19
Burglary: 500 block of Meadow Grove Street, between 12:30 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. A house was broken into and left ransacked. No missing items were reported.
Nov. 19
Burglary: 4400 block of Cornishon Avenue, between 11:45 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. A handbag containing a wallet, debit card, credit cards and an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from a car. One of the car’s windows had been smashed.

Nov. 22
Public intoxication: 2800 block of Foothill Boulevard, 10:10 p.m. A 42-year-old man was arrested for showing signs of being drunk in public.
Nov. 20
Burglary: 2300 block of Shields Street, between 1:15 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Several electronic devices, including a tablet device and four laptops, were stolen from a home. Two diamond rings and other pieces of jewelry were also stolen.
Nov. 18-19
Burglary: 2800 block of Foothill Boulevard, before 6 a.m. on Nov. 19. An undisclosed amount of currency was stolen from a cash register at Harmony Farms.
