Tree-lighting ceremony, canned food drive in La Cañada Wednesday night

The 19th annual Glenola Park Tree Lighting and Canned Food Drive will take place Wednesday, Dec. 4 from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m. at the small park located on Angeles Crest Highway at Vista del Valle Road in La Cañada.

Area residents are invited to participate in this free event, which will feature carols, cookies and cider. This holiday season kick-off is sponsored by the La Cañada Girl Scouts, Friends of Glenola Park, La Cañada Kiwanis Club and the city of La Cañada Flintridge.
