Update: Power restored in La Cañada Flintridge

[UPDATE 11:35 a.m.: Power was restored in La Cañada on Monday following an outage that Edison officials say was caused by an animal inside electrical equipment.]

The outage was reported about 8:15 a.m. and has impacted Southern California Edison customers in the area, Edison’s online outage map indicates. By 11:15 a.m. power was restored in the area, said Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s dispatcher Nina Tepirdzhyan.

Drivers were cautioned to treat lights that aren’t working as stop signs, said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Crescenta Valley Station officials.

Repair crews were working to bring back power in the area, Edison said.

Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station phone lines are redirecting to the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station during the outage.
