La Cañada parcel tax: Exemption forms available through June 30
La Cañada residents seeking a senior citizen or contiguous parcel exemption form for the 2014 tax year may pick one up through June 30 at La Cañada School District’s Fiscal Services Office, 4490 Cornishon Ave., La Cañada. The forms are also available for download at the district’s website, www.lcusd.net.
All residents over the age of 65 qualify to receive a senior citizen exemption. Any residents who previously submitted, and were granted, an exemption from the 2009 parcel tax do not need to apply for a new exemption. Past forms apply for all the years the parcel tax is in effect, unless circumstances have changed since the original filing.
