M.A.C.K. Night Out slated for April 12

Mountain Avenue Committed to Kids, the foundation that raises money in support of Mountain Avenue Elementary School, is planning its annual major fundraiser M.A.C.K. Night Out, for Saturday, April 12 at the La Cañada Thursday Club, 4440 Woodleigh Lane. The event gets underway at 6 p.m. and will feature food and beverage samplings from local eateries, craft brewers and wineries.

There will be live and silent auctions for specialty items, themed class baskets and teacher experiences. Live music will be provided.

Premiere tickets are prices at $50 and include food and cocktail tastings. Standard tickets, priced at $35, include food tasting and nonalcoholic beverages.

Each year, M.A.C.K. raises close to $100,000 in support of the Glendale Unified school, which is attended by children living in the westernmost section of La Cañada and in La Crescenta.
