The city of La Cañada Flintridge is seeking applications from residents who wish to serve on a city commission or committee starting June 1.

Two seats apiece will be vacant on the following panels: the Planning Commission; Design Commission; Investment & Financing Advisory Committee; Parks and Recreation Commission; Public Safety Commission; and Public Works & Traffic Commission.

The city is also seeking applicants for seven seats on its Youth Council, open to residents ages 14 to 19 at time of service. Each member of the council may serve no more than two consecutive terms.

Youth Council seats last two years, expiring May 31, 2018. All other appointments will last four years, expiring May 31, 2020. Members may serve no more than two consecutive four-year terms.

All applicants must be residents of La Cañada Flintridge. Applications are available at City Hall, 1327 Foothill Blvd., or they can be downloaded at www.lcf.ca.gov. Applications must be received by the City Clerk by 5 p.m. on March 31. The City Council will conduct interviews after that time.
