FOX 11 investigative producer dies in apparent hiking accident in Angeles National Forest

FOX 11 announced that the man who was found dead in Angeles National Forest was Martin Burns, an investigative writer and producer at the station, according to www.myfoxla.com.
A hiker spotted his body in a ravine on Sunday afternoon near Inspiration Point above Altadena, authorities said.
Members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Air Rescue 5 unit located the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene before he was airlifted to Farnsworth Park in Altadena, according to the Los Angeles Times.
A preliminary coroner’s examination determined that he died from trauma sustained during a fall from a steep trail.
Martin’s had an apparent accident while hiking alone, according to his colleagues, who shared memories of working him.
