A parent who stands out

Two of my three children have already graduated from La Cañada High School. Throughout the years while at the different district schools, I have seen many dedicated parents. One parent who stood out most throughout the years of school board meetings, school events and sports events, etc., is Ernest Koeppen. I knew right away that he would be a great La Cañada Unified School District Governing Board member.

Koeppen’s true dedication to the school was when he was working with the Engineering Club at La Cañada High School. His dedication to the organization has made it one of the most successful clubs in the high school’s history.

Koeppen exemplifies strong qualities of dedication. He has two children, one who has graduated and is currently attending University of Colorado Boulder and another one who is a sophomore at LCHS. He cares about the children of the community. What better person to join our school board?

I hope that on Nov. 8 the citizens of La Cañada will join me in electing Ernest Koeppen to the La Cañada Unified School District Governing Board. He is the best choice for representing the students’ educational needs.
