La Cañada students are truly nice

We were out of town and just got to read your article last week about the “niceness” factor of the La Cañada students (“Even niceness is on these kids’ resumes,” Carol Cormaci, June 14). My wife and I were just talking about that exact thing last week. We do have a reference point and have come in contact with a fair amount of high school students from other areas.

We have both noticed that the students are very nice here in La Cañada whether it be at the YMCA or asking for directions on the high school campus or interactions with friend’s children. It’s a difficult thing to measure or quantify, but I think you nailed it on the head with your article.
