Christian Science talk on healing Sunday
Christine Driessen, a teacher and practitioner of Christian Science healing, will present a lecture on the topic, “Healing with Scientific Certainty through the Christ” at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17 at First Church of Christ, Scientist, 600 Foothill Blvd. Driessen will be introduced by the church’s First Reader, Dean Boesen.
Driessen is a co-author of the book, “Soul of Medicine: Spiritual Perspectives and Clinical Studies from Harvard Medical School in Boston.”
“There are divine laws which govern and maintain us—laws which are universally accessible,” Driessen says. “The Jewish teacher and arguably the greatest physician who ever lived, Christ Jesus, demonstrated this power to heal, teaching others to do the same.”
