Church to host a day of service

The La Cañada Presbyterian Church will host a day of service on May 19 that supports the Los Angeles Food Bank.

Volunteers can serve meals to the homeless, beautify a school garden, entertain foster children or simply drop off canned food and personal-care items.

The service projects run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
