Rose princess wins scholarship

Madison Teodo, a current Tournament of Roses princess, has won a scholarship from the Italian Catholic Federation.

Al Restivo, president of the federation’s local branch, recently presented the $400 award to Teodo at St. Bede the Venerable Catholic Church. Teodo is expected to graduate next month from La Cañada High School. She plans to attend Cal Poly this fall and major in liberal studies.

The annual scholarship is awarded to graduating high school seniors of Italian heritage.
