Sighted: Risky skateboarding

From time to time going up Oakwood and Lynnhaven, I encounter skateboarders zipping down the road. Many are without protection, not even a helmet, and some are on the wrong side of the turn where Princess Anne joins Lynnhaven.

Parents, what are you thinking? If your skateboarding kid encounters a car on a blind curve, he or she is going to get hurt. I hope to never read an obituary for a teen boarder on these pages.
