Letter: Shredding service swamped with customers at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital

Share

Last Wednesday, during the Community Expo at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital sponsored by the local chambers of commerce, we offered a document-shredding service to residents and businesses as a community service. Everyone was so grateful to have a local, secure, method to dispose of old financial records to avoid documents falling into the wrong hands.

The response was so great that the truck was filled within 90 minutes and we had to turn people away. We didn’t want to accept documents that we could not shred on-site.

We apologize to all of those who were turned away. We also want to reassure them that at the next event, we will have more capacity to make sure we can accept and destroy all documents.
