Letter: Impressed by In Theory response

I don’t know the Rev. Skip Lindeman of the La Cañada Congregational Church, but I certainly was impressed by his passionate response to the In Theory question, “What is our obligation to help the poor?”

No doubt there will be many in his congregation who were uncomfortable reading his words — it was not a “politically correct” response for La Cañada, nor did it conform to the vague platitudes we usually read. Rev. Lindeman’s words rang true for me — these are the teachings I expect from true men and women of faith.
