Letter: Picking a trio of board candidates

I have attended 80% of the school board meetings over the past 21/2 years. I study the agenda items and review the related board policies. I have learned a great deal about how our public schools are governed.

As a parent of two LCHS students and a resident in La Cañada Flintridge, I have a major interest in the composition of the next school board. Despite my parenting duties and my full-time job, I carved out time to meet with seven of the eight school board candidates. The best candidates have analytic skills, relevant work experience, and strong communication/negotiation skills.

Three candidates stood out. Please join me in voting for Dan Jeffries, Kaitzer Puglia and David Sagal.
