Letter: Puglia is what school district needs

Share

I met Kaitzer Puglia at a La Cañada Junior Women’s Club meeting back in 2002 when I joined and I immediately knew she was a motivated community servant and qualified advocate for whatever her mission. She was nominated for president of the club for the following year and of course, she won.

I came to know Kaitzer and as time passed, she was teaching at Pasadena City College, raising her two children, and still had time to be involved in her children’s school activities and volunteered at multiple events. She is still tirelessly active with many school activities from fundraisers to parent meetings and more. We share the same goal, educating our children and their preparing for their future.

I support her efforts as a school board candidate, as I am sure she is qualified for the position and motivated for the right reasons: to create the best practices for our district and plan to ensure we are prepared for the future. Her educational background is vast and her skill to deliver and communicate the message to the parents and board members is exceptional and that is what I think we need for this great district.
