Letter: Grateful for chance to try for PCC board

In the wake of the Pasadena City College Board of Trustees election, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to my family, friends, and supporters for encouraging me to run for public office.

Now that the election is over, I pledge my support in whatever capacity to Dr. Ross Selvidge in his effort to represent the students, faculty, employees, and administrators at Pasadena City College.

My bid for the Pasadena City College Board of Trustees demonstrates that our generation is ready to work for the change they want to experience within their communities. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in this election, and will work diligently to improve our district in the years to come.
