Norwegian group to hold festivities

Sons of Norway Edvard Grieg Lodge will hold a Christmas program with a Santa Lucia procession next week.

The event begins on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 6:30 p.m., but children who want to be involved in the program should come at 6 p.m. Attendees will have the chance to sing Norwegian and American Christmas carols.

The event, held at Lutheran Church of the Foothills on 1700 Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta, is free and open to the public. A potluck with sandwiches and pastries follows the program.
