The Parish Center at St. Bede will host Good Grief, a six-week program for those who have lost a loved one through death. The session begins Wednesday, April 30 and runs through June 4. Hours are 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Topics include: “The Tasks and Process of Grieving,” “What is Good Grief vs. Bad Grief,” “Coping with Loneliness and Depression,” “Stress Management,” “Learning to Live Alone” and “Re-emerging into Life with Hope and Purpose.”

Good Grief is led by Gloria Lee, a licensed marriage and family therapist, assisted by trained co-facilitators from the bereavement ministry. To register or for additional information, call the parish center at (818) 949-4300. Participants are asked to bring a small photo of their loved one to the first session.

St. Bede also offers a monthly support group, Beyond Good Grief, which meets from 7 to 8:30 p.m. the third Wednesday of every month in the Parish Center.
