Presbyterian Church to present fundraiser

“Hollywood Glamour: Movie Music with A Mission” is the theme of an upcoming fundraiser sponsored by La Crescenta Presbyterian Church. Singing, dancing and comedy by performers of all ages will be showcased.

The event takes place from 2 to 4 p.m. on May 4 at the church, located at 2902 Montrose Ave. Cost is $15 at the door, $10 for advance tickets, which can be purchased by calling (818) 249-6137.

The proceeds will be used to purchase building supplies for the school and medicines used in mobile medical clinics for Haitian cane cutters and their families.
