Guest preacher to speak at LC United Methodist Church

Joy Moore will be in the pulpit at 10:30 a.m. this Sunday at La Cañada United Methodist Church, located at 104 Berkshire Place.

Moore is an associate dean of African American Studies and teaches preaching classes at Fuller Theological Seminary. She is standing in for the Rev. Elaine Cho, who is in New Jersey attending the National Korean-American UMC Clergy Convocation.

At 7p.m. on Tuesday, May 6, the church will hold its monthly Taize prayer service. This is a meditative program open to all.
