Mailbag: Desperate times and measures

Some liberals cannot accept the fact that their goddess was crunched in the election. How can that be with all the polls and the never-wrong Nate Silver 538 prognosticating Hillary Clinton’s win? They probably loved the electoral college when Silver had her humiliating Trump with more than 330 electoral votes. After an overwhelming Trump electoral victory, liberals called for the elimination of the electoral college and said the president should instead be elected by popular vote.

Since that ain’t happening, they turned their focus to the Green Party candidate’s call for a recount of the blue states that turned red. OK, Wisconsin’s recount has Trump picking up a few more votes above his 22,000 lead. Judges shut down the others as a waste of time. Gasping for air, liberals are blaming Russia for hacking and interfering with our election. However, they fail to explain how the hacking, if it happened, caused human voters to mark their ballots for Trump instead of Clinton. Seems like the Russians forgot to hack Nevada, Virginia and some other battleground states that Clinton won.

My only regret is that I am not a fly in the liberal collective room to witness the panic, anger and nervous breakdown of all those liberal strategists wondering how could this have happened. Now, that would be a priceless entertainment experience. However, this last effort by liberals to get California to secede from the union is worth a look. Where’s the petition? It would be worth my signature to make sure the left never wins another presidential election and it would be the perfect ending for them if Mexico moves to retake California by annexation. Mexico would not need to take it by force since the Democrats will have disarmed all the citizens and any resistance will amount to nothing more than throwing some flowers at the invading force.
