Sing along with Handel’s Messiah

The 17th annual Sing Along Messiah will take place at Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena at 6 p.m. on Dec. 14. Admission is free.

The Christmas portion of this monumental work by George Frederick Handel will include the audience singing all of the choruses accompanied by the church’s Chamber Symphony and Sanctuary Choir, involving over 150 musicians. Duane Funderburk will host and direct the performance. A special preview concert with the Lake Avenue Church children’s choir will begin at 5:45 p.m., prior to the Sing Along.

This concert attracts about 1,000 participants and audience members each year. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. Lake Avenue Church is located at 393 N. Lake Ave., Pasadena.
