GIRLS’ WATER POLO

La Cañada 19, Temple City 10: The Spartans took control early and earned the Rio Hondo League victory Tuesday afternoon on the road.

La Cañada (12-3, 3-0 in league) held an 8-4 advantage after one quarter, increased its lead in at the half, 11-7, and had a 16-8 lead after three.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

La Cañada 57, San Marino 18: Host La Cañada registered a Rio Hondo League win Tuesday.

The Spartans (18-4, 3-0 in league) got 14 points, nine rebounds and five assists from Lauren Scoville, nine points from Alyssa Miyamoto and eight rebounds from Emmie Lew.

Flintridge Prep 50, Pasadena Poly 31: Host Flintridge Prep recorded a Prep League win Tuesday.

The Rebels are 18-2, 8-0 in league.

Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 56, Louisville 34: Kysa Hayashi finished with 17 points Tuesday to lift host Flintridge Sacred Heart to a Sunshine League win.

The Tologs improved to 15-6, 1-2 in league.

Flintridge Prep 63, Westridge 18: Sofia Gonzalez had 21 points and Kaitlyn Chen added 17 on Monday to lift the host Rebels to a Prep League victory.

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 46, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 37: The Tologs fell Saturday in a Sunshine League game.

San Marino 2, La Cañada 1: The Spartans dropped a Rio Hondo League road match Tuesday.

La Cañada fell to 3-8, 1-2 in league.

BOYS’ SOCCER

La Cañada 7, San Marino 0: A dominating first half helped the Spartans earn the home Rio Hondo League victory Tuesday afternoon.

La Cañada (12-4-4, 4-0-1 in league) enjoyed a 6-0 advantage at the half.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

La Cañada 65, San Marino 23: The Spartans coasted to a Rio Hondo League home win Tuesday.

The Spartans improved to 17-5, 4-0 in league.

Flintridge Prep 50, Pasadena Poly 47: Host Flintridge Prep earned a Prep League win Tuesday.

The Rebels are 11-8, 3-0 in league.

St. Francis 72, El Cajon Christian 56: Dennis Flowers III finished with 29 points Saturday to spark the host Golden Knights (18-4) to a nonleague win.

La Cañada 61, Hesperia 47: La Cañada rolled to a nonleague win Saturday at St. Francis High.
