SOFTBALLLa Cañada 10, Alta Loma 0: Lauren Cox threw a one-hitter, striking out 11 batters Wednesday in the San Dimas Tournament.

The Spartans offense put together an impressive game, too, with 15 hits. Jessica Ogden led the way with a three-for-four day at the plate. Annie Monroe and Michelle Grochow both had a pair of hits for La Cañada (2-0).

BOYS’ GOLF

Flintridge Prep 225, Azusa 264: Jack Bouchard shot a five-over-par 39 to share medalist honors Wednesday in a nonleague match at Azusa Greens Country Club. Josh Kim fired a 44 for the Rebels (1-1).

BOYS’ VOLLEYBALL

Campbell Hall 3, Flintridge Prep 0: The Rebels dropped to 2-4 with Wednesday’s 25-18, 25-21, 25-12 nonleague road loss.

Chad Cosse had five kills and Kareem Ismail added four kills and three blocks.

BOYS’ TRACK AND FIELD

Flintridge Prep in Prep League meet: The Rebels won the meet, as West Nowotny captured a pair of events Tuesday at Occidental College. He won the discus with a throw of 118 feet 1 inch and the discus (45 feet). Flintridge prep finished with 90 points, followed by Webb (60), Chadwick (46) and Pasadena Poly (27).

GIRLS’ TRACK AND FIELD

Flintridge Prep in Prep League meet: Kate Evans won a pair of races Tuesday for the Rebels, who took second at Occidental College. Evans took the 1,600-meter race in 5 minutes 21.02 seconds before winning the 3,200 (12:58.68). Mayfield won with 178 points, followed by Flintridge Prep with 97, Pasadena Poly (93), Webb (77), Chadwick (26) and Westridge (21).
