Temple City 12, La Cañada 5: Heather Connolly finished with two goals Thursday for the host Spartans in a Rio Hondo League match. The Spartans fell to 6-8, 0-3 in league.

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL

Flintridge Prep 50, Westridge 42: Tala Ismail registered a team-high 15 points Thursday to lift the visiting Rebels in a Prep League contest. Maya Okamoto and Lacy Coan finished with 12 and nine points, respectively, for Flintridge Prep (10-2, 3-0 in league).

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame 49, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 46: Jenna Tran had a team-high 18 points and Casey Johnson added 11 on Thursday for the host Tologs in a Mission League contest. Maddie Wirthlin contributed 12 rebounds for Flintridge Sacred Heart (6-14, 1-3 in league).
