Robert Cartwright, Senior, Guard, Flintridge Prep

Stanford University-bound Cartwright earned Prep League Most Valuable Player honors, averaging 21 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.7 steals per contest in 15 games despite missing 10 games with injuries. All-CIF Division IV-AA first-team pick helped Rebels win league title.

Evan Crawford, Senior, Forward, St. Francis

Earned All-CIF Southern Section Division III-A first team and All-Mission League second -team accolades. Averaged 10.5 points, nine rebounds and four assists per contest to help Golden Knights reach division title game.

Koko Kurdoghlian, Sophomore, Guard, La Cañada

Rio Hondo League Most Valuable Player and All-CIF Southern Section Division III-A first-team pick averaged 15 points and nine rebounds per game. Collected 120 assists and 65 steals and led Spartans to league title and semifinal appearance.

Abid Oses, Junior, Forward, Bellarmine-Jefferson

Secured All-Santa Fe League first-team and All-CIF Southern Section Division V-A first-team honors. Averaged 18.8 points and 7.6 rebounds to lead the Guards to second-place finish in league.

Eric Patten, Senior, Forward, Crescenta Valley

Pacific League co-Most Valuable Player averaged a team-leading 18.8 points, 13.3 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game. Falcons won 20 games and shared league championship for first time since 2004.

COACH OF THE YEAR

Ray O’Brien/Jeff Stephens, St. Francis: Piloted Golden Knights to CIF Southern Section Division III-A championship game and second round of CIF State Division III playoffs. St. Francis won 20 games and appeared in a Southern Section final and state tournament for first time.
