New fitness studio to host business event

A new La Cañada business, STRUT Fitness Studio, located at 1049 Foothill Blvd., will welcome visitors to a grand opening and business showcase from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

The owner of the studio, Jason Sarceda, is a familiar face around town. He and his wife are the parents of two who have graduated from La Cañada High and Jason is an owner of La Cañada PrintSmith.

Sarceda has also served as a coach for the La Cañada Gladiators youth football program and as head defensive coordinator for the LCHS Spartan football team.

Thursday’s event will include food, drinks, networking opportunities and raffles. Among the area businesses participating in the expo are Flintridge Family Chiropractic, AG Dental, Unisure Insurance Services, Fusion Wellness Physical Therapy, Kumon, Etc. Gourmet, ViaONEHOPE Wine, Party Host Helpers, PrintSmith and Plan Ahead Events.

Proceeds from this event will be donated to the La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation.
