Teens active in the Youth in Business Club at YMCA of the Foothills are again this year operating a Christmas tree lot at Crescenta-Cañada Family YMCA, 1930 Foothill Blvd., La Cañada. The lot opened Monday and is scheduled to run through Dec. 22.

The display is set up in the east parking lot at the Y and is open for business from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays; 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sundays. Area residents in search of a premium tree will find Nordmann, noble and grand firs in sizes ranging from 2 feet to 11 feet tall.

Assisting with the tree sales are high school students involved with the Y’s Youth and Government program. This year’s goal is to raise more than $50,000 to be earmarked for the organization’s youth development programs, according to the YMCA of the Foothills website.
