Reasonable cause burglary: Olive Lane and Grand Avenue, about 10 a.m. A 20-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested for possessing burglary tools after allegedly getting dropped off in the neighborhood and knocking on doors.
Dec. 13
Petty theft: 600 block of Georgian Road, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. A package containing three gift cards was stolen from a package that was delivered and left on the porch of a home.

Burglary: 4800 block of Ocean View Boulevard, between 6:30 and 10 p.m. Two laptop computers, an external hard drive and an undisclosed amount of cash were stolen from a home.

Unlicensed driver: 2800 block of Foothill Boulevard, about 8:25 a.m. A 29-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested for driving without a driver’s license.
Dec. 18
Drug possession: Foothill Boulevard and Ramsdell Avenue, about 6:25 a.m. An 18-year-old Sylmar man was arrested for allegedly possessing methamphetamine and needles.
Dec. 14-15
Vandalism: 2900 block of Mary Street, before 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 15. Window on vehicle shattered. No items reported missing from vehicle.
