In the interest of gender equality, 10 male students at La Cañada High School vied for the title of “Mr. La Cañada” Friday night during a first-ever male beauty pageant hosted by the school’s Associated Student Body. Competitors participated in a Q&A portion, a dance number, talent competition and a swimsuit competition, according to ASB adviser Bill Lively.
