Letter: Enforcement, not parking, the issue

Per your most recent cover story on the parking issues as a result of Magnolia Park’s Romancing the Bean’s popularity, I’m stunned at area business reaction. Slack parking enforcement is the issue, and the solution does not lie in limiting cafe-goers to one-hour-only metered parking that would effectively eliminate the local business community’s ability to host meetings at the cafe.

Romancing the Bean does nothing but support and promote neighboring businesses, whether on site or via their Facebook page! I’ve lived in the neighborhood for years, and longtime Burbank booster and Chamber of Commerce stalwart Kerry Krull yet again brings fresh relevance to a previously dormant area of the Magnolia Park area that ought to be supported, not penalized.
