Entries are currently being accepted for a pumpkin-decorating contest sponsored by the Burbank Central Library.

There can be only one entry per household, and families should work together on the pumpkins — which should be decorated, not carved. The decorations should have book themes.

Entries, which will be accepted until Oct. 26, should be turned in at the Children’s Room at the library, 110 N. Glenoaks Blvd., Burbank.

Winners will be announced on Halloween. Ribbons will be awarded for first, second and third place as well as honorable mention.
