Car show, police K-9 demonstration planned for Family Fun Day in Burbank

A Family Fun Day, featuring a pancake breakfast and a car show, will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. next Saturday at the recently renovated Johnny Carson Park, 400 Bob Hope Drive, Burbank.

There will also be a K-9 demonstration, a display of tactical vehicles, a photo booth, costume contest and a 50/50 drawing.

The event is sponsored by the Burbank Police Foundation, Burbank Kiwanis for Fun and the Burbank Noon Kiwanis.

After the breakfast, members of the Burbank Kiwanis for Fun will serve lunches from a grill.

Proceeds from the Family Fun Day will go to the Burbank Police Department’s K-9 and mounted units as well as various local charities and youth organizations.
